About Us
We are a family run business based in the Waveney Valley. Apollo Carpentry & Joinery are committed to providing a quality service from the initial inspiration to the finished product showing attention to detail at all times along with great craftsmanship and dedication to making our customers feel that they have a unique product.

Our Eco-Promise
We strongly disapprove of waste and the constant flooding of landfill sites with usable materials. We therefore endeavour to use 100% of the wood we buy, turning left-over 'scrap' timber into something useful. For example, our first ever 'Koru' Oak Trivet was made from the remnants of a bookcase made for a client in 2008. Smaller pieces of timber are used at local schools  for wood-working classes. We even keep and reuse all our sawdust for a local smoke house which produces traditionally smoked meats and fish. Many pieces in our portfolio are produced entirely from otherwise landfill destined timber for example the 'Shabby-Chic' picnic chairs and a hexagonal garden bench. Even the pieces that are of no apparent use for product making are burnt in the workshop wood-burner in the winter! Wherever possible we aim to use local materials from a sustainable source.

Our Product Promise
Our excellent reputation and long list of satisfied clients attest to our superior craftsmanship, attention to detail, clear communication, honesty and integrity.

We do not aim to compete with any of the major DIY stores which we all know can produce a bed for a fiver (which actually is worth about that). We aim to produce a much higher quality product that will outlive you and your children! If made properly there is no reason why a bed/bookshelf etc cannot last indefinitely.

Our Local Contacts
Having been ‘in the trade’ for many years now we have built up relationships with trusted contractors that we feel offer similar assurances of quality workmanship. We can therefore provide a more complete service to our customers reducing the risk of association with lesser quality tradesmen. Examples of these might include: Electricians, plumbers, bricklayers, plasterers, services i.e. drainage etc, landscape gardeners, roof tilers and ceramic tilers. We can fully assist you from the planning stages right through to completion of the project, be it a garden chair set, a timber-framed barn or a three storey house extension.

Hours
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.
Evening or weekends consultations are available by prior arrangement.

Location
Our workshop is situated in the market town of Beccles in north Suffolk although we will always visit you to discuss your needs. Most initial discussions can take place over the phone or email, depending on the nature of the project.
